This archive tracks four layers. A record present in 4 of them (HH, AoI, M41, IND) is silent in the rest, and says so.
The Horus HeresyM30–M31
imperium
Moon of Terra; gene-forge and shipyard
Home of the Selenar gene-cults whose work underpins the Emperor's warriors — the Luna Wolves took their name from the compliance fought here. Also the anchorage the traitor fleet had to break to reach Terra.
Age of the ImperiumM32–M40

Moon of Terra; fortress and industry
A fortified industrial moon and the outer keep of the Throneworld's defences.
The 41st Millenniumpre-Rift
imperium
Moon of Terra; fortress and industry
Airless, tunnelled through and armoured, given over to the batteries and docks that screen Terra.
Era Indomituspost-Rift
imperiumImperium Sanctus
Moon of Terra; fortress and industry
Unchanged in role: the last hard line before anything reaches the Throneworld.
Position
Map frame: 242, 522 in the archive's 0–1000 disk space (core at 500, 500).
Distance from the core: 259 units ≈ 27.6k light years, west of the galactic core.
Height above the disk plane: 3.8 units — invented thin-disk jitter, deterministic per record. No published source gives any location a z coordinate.
wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Luna infobox Class lists Civilised / Death / Industrial World. Rendered hive: the Industrial World reading, and the one systems/sol.json already carries, where the body note records billions living in hive cities under a surface given over to factories, gun-batteries and the shipyards of Port Luna. It was rendered fortress here on the defence-structure line, which put the two files in disagreement about the same moon — the galaxy marker said fortress and the drill-down drew a hive world. The fortification is real and is what the per-era statuses say; it is the batteries on an industrial moon rather than the moon's own surface
