The 41st Millenniumpre-Rift
imperium
Imperial ocean mining world, raiser of the Ojada Perennials
An Ocean World colonised in M36 whose city-sized ocean mining rigs, home to most of its people, drilled promethium for the Imperium; by late M41 it was highly productive and raised the Ojada Perennials regiments. It is invaded by the forces of Chaos in the early years of the 13th Black Crusade, and Járnhamar Pack comes there hunting the enemy called Fulcrum (The Helwinter Gate).
Era Indomituspost-Rift
chaos
Fallen to Chaos in the 13th Black Crusade
Lost to the forces of Chaos in the 13th Black Crusade despite the Perennials, several of whose regiments had been sent to defend Cadia shortly before it fell.
Position
Map frame: 300, 290 in the archive's 0–1000 disk space (core at 500, 500).
Distance from the core: 290 units ≈ 30.9k light years, north-west of the galactic core.
Height above the disk plane: -3.2 units — invented thin-disk jitter, deterministic per record. No published source gives any location a z coordinate.
System: Ojada VII System

wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Ojada_VII (read 2026-10-12 with fetch-page.mjs, citing The Helwinter Gate (Novel), Chapters 8-21): infobox Class 'Ocean World, Mining World', Segmentum 'Segmentum Obscurus', Sector/Subsector/System 'Unknown'; 'an Ocean World, which once was a major source of Promethium for the Imperium and also raised the Ojada Perennials Regiments … originally colonized in M36 … numerous city-sized mining ocean rigs'. Also https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Járnhamar_Pack (read 2026-10-12 with fetch-page.mjs, section 'Fugitives', citing The Helwinter Gate (Novel)): 'they identify their target as the Mining World of Ojada VII … land on a rig-city' (Chapters 8-12). A planet. NAME-COLLISION CHECK: no index record uses the id or label.
book-joinhigh
PRIMARY for The Helwinter Gate: the arrival in orbit, the descent to the rig-city, the fight through traitor forces and the confrontation in Fulcrum's last base (Chapters 8-18; Lexicanum Járnhamar_Pack, Leon_Chirastes, Ojada_VII).
segmentummedium
'obscurus', from Lexicanum Ojada_VII's infobox (Chapter 21). No sector, subsector or system is published.
classmedium
'ocean', from the page's own description of what it looks like: 'an Ocean World' whose population lives on 'city-sized mining ocean rigs' (Chapter 9). Not 'forge' or 'dead' from the Mining World tag, which is an economic classification, not a look.
gposlow
inferred: segmentum-level. Canon places the world only in Segmentum Obscurus; no sector, neighbour or bearing is published. [300, 290] is an editorial marker inside the existing Obscurus boundary with no canonical distance to any other record; Lexicanum says only that it was invaded in the 13th Black Crusade and sent regiments to Cadia, which is not a position. UPGRADE CANDIDATE. Z -3.2 is the zPolicy value (compute-z.mjs ojada-vii 300 290).
erasmedium
m41 imperium (colonised M36, highly productive by late M41) and indomitus chaos (infobox Affiliation 'Chaos, formerly Imperium'; 'successfully invaded by the forces of Chaos, in the early years of the 13th Black Crusade', Chapters 19-21). The m41 era carries the Imperial state most of the era's history describes.
systemIdlow
'ojada-vii', named for the world because Lexicanum gives the system as 'Unknown'.
no-system-surveyhigh
No systems/ojada-vii.json: canon names no star, no sibling body and no body count (the numeral alone is not an enumeration). The map synthesises its globe from this record.
