Being rebuilt for the Chapter by the Imperium, and no longer the safe distance from the Maelstrom it was once thought to be: since the Great Rift opened, nightmares, hallucinations, ghosts and revenants have become common here. The Red Corsairs raided the system, took a Laskar-class star fort out of it, and were driven off by an Ultramarines relief force — a raid that was really the Tyrant of Badab setting his own ambitious warlord an errand he could measure him by.

Painted `dead`: canon gives this world no climate, no terrain and no colour, and the only physical statement it makes is that the world was broken, so the grey cratered palette is what the description supports. The infobox tag is 'Adeptus Astartes Homeworld', which is not a render class at all, and nothing was copied from it. `fortress` was the real alternative and was refused — that palette paints armoured rock ridged so the ridges read as fortification, and this world's fortifications are what the Eldar took apart; `temperate` was refused because it would assert a biosphere no source describes.

inferred: the segmentum is published and the only finer datum is a relation — the planet "was once considered to be a safe distance away from The Maelstrom" (Lexicanum, citing this novel's chapter 16), a distance the Great Rift ended. Placed inside the Ultima block 74 units from the Maelstrom region centre [568, 552]: outside the storm, further out than Badab Primaris at 41 units, and near enough that a Red Corsairs raiding fleet reaches it as a matter of course. Region-level and no better; the z is the zPolicy value for this id (compute-z.mjs ogrys 620 605).
