imperium
One warzone of several
A fetid jungle world at the edge of the Imperium, out of contact for millennia until a lone missionary came to reconvert its people, where creeping foliage overgrows ancient monuments and a crumbling cathedral. It is the first of the fronts a Sister of the Bloody Rose is thrown at: Sister Superior Augusta Santorus's squad come to it in the short story Mercy and the novella The Bloodied Rose, both collected in The Rose at War, to purge it of heretic and mutant.

classmedium
'death' from what the sources say it LOOKS like: 'the fetid jungle world of Lautis', 'creeping foliage and ancient monuments' (Black Library's description of The Bloodied Rose), 'the jungles of Lautis' (The Rose at War's description), and Lexicanum Planets (List)'s class 'Jungle World'. This dataset's `death` palette is the olive, toxic jungle canopy, which is what 'fetid jungle' describes. Corrected 2026-10-02 from 'hive': no source mentions a city of any size, and the only buildings named are a crumbling cathedral, ancient monuments and villages (Lexicanum Augusta_Santorus, citing Mercy).
segmentumhigh
null: no permitted source gives a segmentum, sector or system; 'at the edge of the Imperium' (Black Library) is not a location.
gposlow
inferred: no published geography of any kind. No segmentum is claimed; unsurveyed rim, no positional information
erasmedium
indomitus only: The Rose at War and The Bloodied Rose are filed M42 — Post-Great Rift, and Lexicanum's List of Media set during the Era Indomitus lists The Bloodied Rose (citing Black Library's Servants of the Imperium description, 'Their hands forced by the opening of the Great Rift'). Allegiance 'imperium': Augusta takes the world under the Order of the Bloody Rose's protection in Mercy (Lexicanum Augusta_Santorus).
systemIdlow
editorial: 'lautis', the world's own name; no permitted source names a star, a system or another world. systems/lautis.json is a one-body TRUNCATED survey, authored 2026-10-02 because The Bloodied Rose makes Lautis a catalogued book's PRIMARY setting.
