contested
Forge world contested in the Bale Stars Crusade
A forge world of the Bale Stars, fought over by the Chaos cult called the Sighted and the Bale Stars Crusade of Lord General Militant Alar Serek. Traitor Baneblades and corrupted battle-automata hold the approaches to its heavily fortified Delta Gate, the cult keeps a fortress called the Sanctum of Bones, and the Laxian Shipyards are a prize of the campaign. In Honourbound the 11th Antari Rifles and their commissar, Severina Raine, fight to take the world's primary Forge back. What the campaign uncovers is in the book's spoiler.

wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Laxus_Secundus No Lexicanum article of its own ( is an empty page, read 2026-10-02). The world is described on pages that cite Honourbound (Novel) by chapter, all read directly in a browser on 2026-10-02: https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Severina_Raine ('the Forge World of Laxus Secundus', the Sighted, traitor Baneblades and corrupted Battle-Automata, the Delta Gate, chs 1-2; 'Laxus' primary Forge', chs 4-5; the Sanctum of Bones, ch. 8; the Laxian Shipyards, chs 18-21), https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Alar_Serek ('the campaign on Laxus Secundus', ch. 12), https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Kaspar_Sylar, https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Bale_Stars_Crusade ('significant Chaos resistance on Laxus Secundus') and https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/11th_Antari_Rifles (chs 20-21). NAME-COLLISION CHECK: Lexicanum's full-text search for 'Laxus' returns exactly those five pages, all about this world; no index record uses the name.
segmentumhigh
null: no permitted source places the Bale Stars. Lexicanum's Bale_Stars_Crusade calls it 'the Bale Stars Sector' with no segmentum, and Bale_Stars is an empty page; nothing names a neighbour or bearing.
classmedium
'forge' for what the sources say the world IS: 'the Forge World of Laxus Secundus', with a 'primary Forge' and shipyards (Lexicanum Severina_Raine, chs 1-5, 18-19). No terrain or colour word is published beyond that; the palette's industrial manufactorum surface is the reading of 'Forge World', not a copied infobox tag (there is no infobox).
gposlow
inferred: the world is NAMED but canon never locates it or its sector, so the record claims no segmentum and sits on the unsurveyed rim at the generator's rim_xy('laxus-secundus') = [464.8, 48.9] (the function ported from build_locations.py, which reproduces spetzghast [231.9, 850.8] and beshic-v [509.7, 56.8]; the script itself was not run). The position carries no information and must not be read as one. Z 11.3 is the zPolicy value (compute-z.mjs laxus-secundus 464.8 48.9).
erasmedium
m41 only. Warhammer Community ('Black Library's greatest first lines', cxtw5ssK) says the opening 'instantly grounds Honourbound in the total war of the 41st Millennium'; Lexicanum Severina_Raine dates her 'c. 900s.M41'; Lexicanum's List_of_Media_set_during_the_Era_Indomitus does not list the novel (it does list Rachel Harrison's Mark of Faith). 'contested': the Sighted hold the world and the Crusade is fighting to take it.
systemIdlow
editorial: 'laxus'. 'Secundus' implies a Laxus system with at least one other world, but no permitted source names a system, a star or another body. systems/laxus.json is a one-body TRUNCATED survey, authored because this is the novel's PRIMARY setting.
