Destroyed by Exterminatus
A tiny world whose cities were overrun by a plague of walking dead despite its Imperial Guard defenders. With the Mordian and Noctan regiments falling back on an evacuation point, the Inquisition ordered Exterminatus, and the Redemption Corps was sent in at the eleventh hour to lift the survivors out moments before the cyclonic torpedoes struck. It is where Mortensen first met Zola Vedette, holding the rearguard; Redemption Corps tells it in flashback.
Position
Map frame: 93.3, 318.2 in the archive's 0–1000 disk space (core at 500, 500).
Distance from the core: 445 units ≈ 47.4k light years, north-west of the galactic core.
Height above the disk plane: 9.5 units — invented thin-disk jitter, deterministic per record. No published source gives any location a z coordinate.

wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Nebrus_IX (read directly in a browser on 2026-10-02): 'a former world of the Imperium'; disease, the plague zombies, the Mordian and Noctan regiments, the Exterminatus and the Redemption Corps' last-minute evacuation, cited to Redemption Corps (Novel), ch. 4; infobox Population None, Class Dead World, Tithe Grade Aptus Non. Corroborated by Zola_Vedette (ch. 4 s. 3, where she met Mortensen; the Ordo Sepulturum's order; dated M42, ch. 3 s. 3). NAME-COLLISION CHECK: no other index record uses the name; the graph's 'Nebrus' strings are unrelated character ids.
segmentumhigh
null: Lexicanum Nebrus_IX's infobox has Segmentum, Sector and System empty and the page is filed 'Segmentum Unknown'.
classmedium
'dead': cyclonic torpedoes destroyed it before the novel's present (Lexicanum Nebrus_IX; infobox Dead World, Population None). The page gives no terrain word for the world before; 'tiny planet' with cities is all, so only the after is drawn.
gposlow
inferred: no permitted source names a segmentum, sector, system or neighbour for Nebrus IX, so the record claims no segmentum and sits on the unsurveyed rim at the generator's rim_xy('nebrus-ix') = [93.3, 318.2] (ported function, checked against beshic-v and cressida; the script itself was not run). The position carries no information and must not be read as one. Z 9.5 is the zPolicy value (compute-z.mjs nebrus-ix 93.3 318.2).
erasmedium
indomitus only: Lexicanum Zola_Vedette dates the Nebrus IX action to M42 (ch. 3 s. 3) and the novel is filed M42 — Post-Great Rift. Allegiance 'none' after the Exterminatus.
systemIdlow
'nebrus': the numeral IX implies a Nebrus system of which it is the ninth world, but no source names the system; no systems/nebrus.json is authored (nothing enumerated; ADDING-A-BOOK Step 5b).
