Forge moon; Genetor rule; a Legio Invictus quarto-legio on loan
A forge moon whose region leans to the organicists, so Genetors run it and its Biologus are famous for refining the mind-link between Titan and crew. Its religious and administrative capital, Corpora Mons, is a black and baroque metropolis of greasestacks and cooling towers along the equatorial bulge, around the Artellus Cathedra and its Omnissiah shrine, guarded by skitarii, orbital defence lasers and a quarto-legio of Titans permanently lent by the Legio Invictus of Ninevah. In Redemption Corps one of a wave of coordinated rebellions across its system rises from its own menial workforce of immigrant labourers.
Position
Map frame: 141.7, 228.9 in the archive's 0–1000 disk space (core at 500, 500).
Distance from the core: 449 units ≈ 47.8k light years, north-west of the galactic core.
Height above the disk plane: 11.3 units — invented thin-disk jitter, deterministic per record. No published source gives any location a z coordinate.

wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Illium (read directly in a browser on 2026-10-02): 'an Imperial Forge Moon'; Genetor rule, the Biologus and Titan mind-link technology, Corpora Mons and the Artellus Cathedra, the Legio Invictus quarto-legio, and the rebellion by its menial workforce, every statement cited to Redemption Corps (Novel), ch. 2 s. 3 and ch. 4 s. 1, 2 and 7. Corroborated by Legio_Invictus (same chapters) and Forge_World and Moons_(List), which list it citing the novel. NAME-COLLISION CHECK: no other index record uses the name (none spelled Ilium either), and Lexicanum's Illium article carries no disambiguation notice.
typehigh
'moon': Lexicanum Illium is filed in the Moons portal as a 'Forge Moon', infobox 'Lunar Image'; its Primary field is blank, so it is placed as its own marker rather than beside a parent.
segmentumhigh
null: Lexicanum Illium's infobox has Segmentum, Sector, System and Primary all empty and the page is filed 'Segmentum Unknown'.
classhigh
'forge' for what the page says it LOOKS like: a black, baroque metropolis of greasestacks and cooling towers, vat labs and culture mills (Lexicanum Illium). The infobox's War World tag is its rebellion, not its look.
gposlow
inferred: no permitted source names a segmentum, sector, system, primary or neighbour for Illium, so the record claims no segmentum and sits on the unsurveyed rim at the generator's rim_xy('illium') = [141.7, 228.9] (ported function, checked against beshic-v and cressida; the script itself was not run). The position carries no information and must not be read as one. Z 11.3 is the zPolicy value (compute-z.mjs illium 141.7 228.9).
erasmedium
indomitus only, the era the shelf files Redemption Corps in (Lexicanum List_of_Media_set_during_the_Era_Indomitus). Allegiance 'imperium' (infobox). What the rebellion does to the Titans is kept to the book's spoiler.
systemIdlow
'illium': Lexicanum speaks of 'the other worlds and moons of Illium's system' but names neither the system nor its primary, so the id is the moon's own. No systems/illium.json is authored (a visited setting whose system canon does not enumerate; ADDING-A-BOOK Step 5b).
