imperium
Imperial hive world, liberated from a Chaos pleasure cult
An Imperial hive world whose Imperial Commander, Aphra Verlaine, and his noble family fell to a heretical pleasure cult; the corruption spread to his ancestral allies and became a civil war across several systems. Colonel Elena Grayloc and her 83rd Yervaunt Voltigeurs liberated it, fighting through hordes of transformed cultists to Verlaine's throne room. Named in The Colonel's Monograph as part of the late colonel's past.
Position
Map frame: 930.6, 442.4 in the archive's 0–1000 disk space (core at 500, 500).
Distance from the core: 434 units ≈ 46.2k light years, east of the galactic core.
Height above the disk plane: 4.6 units — invented thin-disk jitter, deterministic per record. No published source gives any location a z coordinate.
System: Heliogabalus System

identityhigh
wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Heliogabalus (read directly in a browser on 2026-10-02): 'Heliogabalus is an Imperial hive world', its history of Aphra Verlaine's pleasure cult and the liberation by Colonel Elena Grayloc and the 83rd Yervaunt Voltigeurs, sole source The Colonel's Monograph (Novella). https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Aphra_Verlaine and https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/List_of_Planetary_Governors (Verlaine, Heliogabalus, 'Corrupted by Chaos') and https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Planets_(List) ('Heliogabalus — Hive World'), all citing the novella. NAME-COLLISION CHECK: no index record uses the name; Lexicanum's full-text search finds Heliogabalus on those four pages only.
segmentumhigh
null: the Heliogabalus infobox leaves segmentum, sector, subsector and system blank, the Planets (List) row gives none, and no permitted source gives a bearing or a neighbour.
gposlow
inferred: the world is NAMED but canon never locates it, so the record claims no segmentum and sits on the unsurveyed rim at the generator's rim_xy('heliogabalus') = [930.6, 442.4] (the function in build_locations.py evaluated on its own, which reproduces chevreuse [931.5, 388.0] and kallash [759.0, 848.6]; the script itself was not run). The position carries no information and must not be read as one. Z 4.6 is the zPolicy value (compute-z.mjs heliogabalus 930.6 442.4).
classmedium
'hive' because the page's own description is a hive world ruled from a noble Imperial Commander's throne room, overrun by 'hordes of horribly transformed cultists': a hive-covered world is what the dataset's hive palette draws. No terrain or colour words are published beyond that; 'daemon' was refused because the cult was purged and the world liberated, not warp-twisted.
erasmedium
indomitus only, as the era of the book that names it (Lexicanum's List_of_Media_set_during_the_Era_Indomitus lists The Colonel's Monograph); the liberation is 'at some point' in Lexicanum's words and is the late colonel's past, so no earlier era is asserted. Allegiance 'imperium': liberated by the Imperial forces.
systemIdlow
editorial: 'heliogabalus', the world's own name; no source names a star or another body. No survey authored: the world is MENTIONED, not the book's setting, and the synthesiser draws it from the class.
