This archive tracks four layers. A record present in 2 of them (AoI, M41) is silent in the rest, and says so.
The Horus HeresyM30–M31
[RECORD LOST]
No record for this location in The Horus Heresy.
Age of the ImperiumM32–M40
imperium
Sanctuary world of the Adepta Sororitas of the Last Candle
A storm-wracked ocean world whose one landmass of note is the Koronatus Ring: a mountain island crowned by a cathedral, circled by seven spire-islands named for the Imperial Virtues. The Sisters of the Last Candle have kept their vigil here for centuries, trying to decipher their founder's visions, and they do not welcome visitors.
The 41st Millenniumpre-Rift
imperium
Shrine world of the Imperium, birthplace of the Spiral Dawn sect
Now called Redemption 219, or simply Redemption: a soot-choked, volcanic wasteland where the Koronatus Ring is the only land, standing in a sea of lava. It is the world of origin of the Spiral Dawn, a sanctioned sect of the Imperial Cult whose pilgrims come to it seeking enlightenment, and an unorthodox Astra Militarum regiment, the Vassago Black Flags, is garrisoned here beside the sect's founders.
Era Indomituspost-Rift
[RECORD LOST]
No record for this location in Era Indomitus.
Position
Map frame: 922.1, 632.2 in the archive's 0–1000 disk space (core at 500, 500).
Distance from the core: 442 units ≈ 47.1k light years, east of the galactic core.
Height above the disk plane: -4.4 units — invented thin-disk jitter, deterministic per record. No published source gives any location a z coordinate.

identityhigh
wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Redemption_219 Lexicanum files this world under a later name (, read directly in a browser on 2026-10-01) and gives 'Vytarn' and 'the Candleworld' as its names in Requiem Infernal (Novel). The blurb on https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Requiem_Infernal_(Novel) (Black Library's own description, archived) calls the Last Candle's sanctuary world 'the Candleworld'. One world, one record. The label is Vytarn, the name it has in this book, and 'the Candleworld' is an alias. The later names 'Redemption 219' (Lexicanum's article title, citing Legends of the Dark Millennium: Genestealer Cults, Prologue) and 'Redemption' (Black Library's blurb for that novel, on https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Genestealer_Cults_(Novel), read directly in a browser on 2026-10-03) were held back on 2026-10-01 because they give away how Requiem Infernal ends; the 2026-10-01 run record left the decision to the intake of the book that uses them, and that intake (2026-10-03) adds both as aliases, because Genestealer Cults is set on this world under that name and a reader of it must be able to find it. The label stays Vytarn, the record's first name. NAME-COLLISION CHECK: no other index record or Lexicanum hit uses 'Vytarn'; 'Redemption' alone also names unrelated things (the Redemption Corps, Necromunda's Cult of Redemption), none of them a world in the index.
classhigh
wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Redemption_219 (read directly in a browser on 2026-10-01): 'Vytarn was an Ocean World, afflicted by lethal storms'; 'Its main physical feature was the Koronatus Ring, an archipelago'. The terrain words are ocean, storms and an archipelago, so it is `ocean`, the palette drawn as thin archipelagos in deep water. Lexicanum's infobox tag describes the world in a later era, not the Vytarn of this book, so it was not used.
era-m41-classhigh
wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Redemption_219 (read directly in a browser on 2026-10-03): by M41 the world is 'a soot-choked wasteland ... wracked by volcanic activity', the Koronatus Ring 'the planet's sole continent, standing amidst a sea of lava'; Black Library's blurb (Lexicanum Genestealer_Cults_(Novel)) calls it 'a soot-choked hellhole'. The terrain words are soot, volcanoes and lava, so the m41 render is `forge`, the palette drawn as dark scorched rock with glowing lava veins and an ember haze (the choice made for Nocturne, a volcanic world). The infobox tag 'Shrine World' is a status, not a look: `shrine` paints a pale gold pilgrim world, which is not what the page describes. An era `class` is used because the status table only ever answers `dead` or `daemon`, and the ocean baseline must not carry into M41.
segmentumhigh
wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Redemption_219 (read directly in a browser on 2026-10-01): the infobox segmentum is blank and the page is in Lexicanum's 'Segmentum Unknown' category. Its sector, the Ikiryu Sector, is cited to Legends of the Dark Millennium: Genestealer Cults ch. 11, and Lexicanum has no Ikiryu Sector article and gives it no position. So `segmentum` is null.
gposlow
inferred: no published geography that places it. Canon names the Ikiryu Sector and nothing else: no segmentum, no neighbour with a position, no bearing. The position comes from the generator's rim_xy('vytarn') on the unsurveyed rim (r = 430..455, outside every stylised segmentum polygon), so no membership is implied. The coordinate carries no information. Z from compute-z.mjs under zPolicy.

wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Chronological_order_of_settings_of_Black_Library_publications `aoi`: Requiem Infernal is set in 419.M40 (, citing the novel's First Gospel, Chapter One; read directly in a browser on 2026-10-01). `m41` added 2026-10-03 with Legends of the Dark Millennium: Genestealer Cults, which the shelf files M41 before the Great Rift: https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Redemption_219 (read directly in a browser on 2026-10-03): 'Following an apocalyptic event Vytarn became a soot-choked wasteland known as Redemption 219, wracked by volcanic activity, upon which The Koronatus Ring formed the planet's sole continent, standing amidst a sea of lava' (Genestealer Cults, Prologue); 'Redemption, the sect's world of origin and a shrine world of the Imperium', the Spiral Dawn's pilgrimage and the regiment, from Black Library's blurb on https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Genestealer_Cults_(Novel); the Vassago Black Flags named on that page and on https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Ambrose_Templeton (ch. 2). Allegiance `imperium`: the blurb's shrine world of the Imperium. The status says nothing the blurb does not; what the cult really is stays in the book's spoiler.
no-system-surveyhigh
No `systems/vytarn.json` is authored, on purpose. Canon names no star, no sibling body and no body count for this system. The only geography it publishes is on the planet itself (the Koronatus Ring and its seven spire-islands), and those are surface features, not bodies, so a survey would be invented. The synthesised one-world system stands. Revisit if a permitted source describes the system.
