Lost forge world, held by the Dark Mechanicum
A forge world of the Adeptus Mechanicus that vanished inside a warp storm and was declared lost for centuries, and was overrun by Chaos in the meantime. When it is found again, the Skitarii legions of its sibling forge world Satzica Secundus go to war to take it back from the Dark Mechanicum. What comes of it is kept off this record because it would spoil the book.

classmedium
'forge' from what the sources say it IS and LOOKS like: a forge world of the Mechanicus, with a Geller Device developed in its forges (Lexicanum Standard_Template_Construct) and its war fought against 'corrupt machines' and the Dark Mechanicum (Black Library's description on the novel page). 'daemon' was weighed and refused: nothing published says the world itself is warped into a daemon world; it is a forge world in traitor hands. There is no Lexicanum infobox to copy.
segmentumhigh
wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Adeptus_Mechanicus:_Skitarius_(Novel null: no permitted source gives Velchanos Magna a segmentum, sector, subsector or system. Read 2026-10-01: ), https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Standard_Template_Construct, https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Omnid_Torquora, https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Adeptus_Mechanicus:_Clade_(Short_Story), https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Adeptus_Mechanicus:_Tech-Priest_(Novel); Lexicanum has no Velchanos Magna article. 'Sibling' forge world to Satzica Secundus (Lexicanum Omnid_Torquora) is a relation, not a bearing.
gposlow
inferred: no published segmentum, sector, subsector or system, and no article places the world against a neighbour or theatre beyond being Satzica Secundus' 'sibling', which gives no distance. No segmentum is claimed; unsurveyed rim, no positional information. [761.9, 155.2] is build_locations.py rim_xy('velchanos-magna'); Z from compute-z.mjs under zPolicy.
erasmedium
Only 'm41' is carried: the novel was released in April 2015 beside Codex: Skitarii (7th Edition) (Lexicanum White_Dwarf_62_(2015)), and the shelf files it M41 — Pre-Great Rift. No permitted source gives a date. Allegiance 'contested': Black Library's description has the forge world 'overrun by Chaos', and the novel is the Mechanicus' war to recover it from the Dark Mechanicum (Lexicanum plot summary).
systemIdlow
editorial: 'velchanos-magna', the world's own name, because no permitted source names a system or a star. systems/velchanos-magna.json is a one-body TRUNCATED survey.
