imperium
Imperial hive world overrun by daemons in a sudden warp storm
A hive world of the Imperium whose sky has never shown blue through the smog over Hive Genos. In the closing days of M41 a warp storm breaks over it in seconds, daemons of Khorne and Tzeentch overrun its hives, and its astropathic cry for help brings Harald Deathwolf's Great Company to the Lacertus Peninsula and Hive Predomitus (Curse of the Wulfen).
Era Indomituspost-Rift

Exterminated in 999.M41
Subjected to Exterminatus by the Grey Knights shortly after the battle (Lexicanum Battle_of_Nurades, after War Zone Fenris: Curse of the Wulfen).

Height above the disk plane: 3.1 units — invented thin-disk jitter, deterministic per record. No published source gives any location a z coordinate.

wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Battle_of_Nurades Black Library's free ePub extract of the novel (blacklibrary.com/Downloads/Product/ePub and MOBI Extracts/C/Extract-Curse-of-the-Wulfen.epub, ISBN 978-1-78572-057-4), read 2026-10-12 through its Internet Archive copy of 12 Feb 2016 (web.archive.org/web/20160212055449id_/…): Chapter 1, 'The Dooms on Nurades': Andras Elsener, 'Lord Governor of Nurades', in the spire of 'Hive Genos'; Harald Deathwolf points to 'the sigil for Hive Predomitus', 'located at the base of a high mountain chain dividing the Lacertus Peninsula from the rest of the continent'. Also (packet source 15, read 2026-10-05): 'The crisis on the Hive World of Nurades begin with a terrible Warp Storm'. https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Nurades has no text (read 2026-10-12). NAME-COLLISION CHECK: no index record uses the id or label.
book-joinmedium
PRIMARY for Curse of the Wulfen: the extract shows Part 1, 'The Return', opening on Nurades (Chapter 1 entire: the warp storm over Hive Genos, the Deathwolves' drop on Hive Predomitus and the fight in its Industrium Sub-terranal with the herald Slithertwyst), and Lexicanum's Battle_of_Nurades cites the novel's Epilogue for the Scout recovered there. How far into the novel Nurades runs beyond Chapter 1 is not on a permitted page.
segmentumhigh
null, stated rather than guessed: no permitted page gives a segmentum, sector or system for Nurades.

'hive', by the look: a world of named hive cities and spires ('the spires of the hive', 'the sprawl of the hive', 'a choking, industrial grey-brown' sky; Chapter 1 of the extract). indomitus carries an authored 'dead' after the Exterminatus (the palette's burned-world state).
gposlow
inferred: named and unplaced anywhere, with no segmentum, sector, subsector, bearing or theatre published. Unsurveyed rim: rim_xy('nurades') = [574.2, 926.7] (the generator's function evaluated on its own, reproducing argo-secundus's [899.7, 700.0]; build_locations.py not run). The position carries no information. Z 3.1 is the zPolicy value (compute-z.mjs nurades 574.2 926.7).
erasmedium
m41 (the novel's 'closing days of the 41st Millennium') and indomitus (after the Exterminatus). Allegiance m41 'imperium', indomitus 'none'.
systemIdlow
'nurades', named for the world because no system is published.
