imperium
Imperial feudal world overrun by feral orks in its forests
An Imperial feudal world of alien forests. Years before, an ork ship crashed there; the local militia dealt with the crash-landed orks but could not erase them, and the feral greenskins have slowly grown in number ever since. The Mordian 17th Iron Guard was deployed to counter them and spent months mired in the infested Dirkr Forest, its ranks thinned further by an unknown local fungal spore infection that hospitalised many of its Guardsmen. Iron Resolve is set at a medicae camp and command post behind that front.

Position
Map frame: 759, 848.6 in the archive's 0–1000 disk space (core at 500, 500).
Distance from the core: 434 units ≈ 46.2k light years, south-east of the galactic core.
Height above the disk plane: -0.4 units — invented thin-disk jitter, deterministic per record. No published source gives any location a z coordinate.
System: Kallash System

identityhigh
wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Kallash (read directly in a browser on 2026-10-02): 'an Imperial Feudal world'; a crashed ork ship left its forests infested with feral orks that the local militia could not erase (citing Iron Resolve, 1000); the Mordian 17th deployed and mired for months in the Dirkr Forest (1100); a local fungal spore infection hospitalised many Mordians (Another Dawn). https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/List_of_Mordian_units: 17th, 'Also fought against feral orks on Kallash' (Iron Resolve, 1100). Black Library's product page (read as its Internet Archive copy of 7 Mar 2026): 'Deep in the alien forests of Kallash, a medicae camp'. NAME-COLLISION CHECK: no index record uses the name, and Lexicanum's full-text search for 'Iron Resolve' and for 'Dirkr' finds only this one Kallash.
segmentumhigh
null: Lexicanum's infobox leaves segmentum, sector, subsector and system blank (category 'Segmentum Unknown'), and no permitted source gives any geography.
gposlow
inferred: the world is NAMED but canon never locates it, so the record claims no segmentum and sits on the unsurveyed rim at the generator's rim_xy('kallash') = [759.0, 848.6] (the function in build_locations.py evaluated on its own, which reproduces regallus [665.1, 898.2]; the script itself was not run). The position carries no information and must not be read as one. Z -0.4 is the zPolicy value (compute-z.mjs kallash 759.0 848.6).
classmedium
'feral' from what the sources say it LOOKS like: 'alien forests' (Black Library's description; Lexicanum Imperium_at_War_(Anthology)), 'an alien forest' (Warhammer Community, 31 Jul 2019), and forests infested with feral orks, the Dirkr Forest among them (Lexicanum Kallash). The palette chosen is the unspoiled emerald forest one. 'death' (this dataset's olive, toxic jungle) was refused because no source calls the world a Death World or describes a hostile canopy beyond the orks and a fungal spore; 'temperate' and 'agri' were refused because nothing describes open land or farmland. The Lexicanum tag 'Feudal World' is a level of development, not a look, and was not copied.
erasmedium
m41 only: no permitted source dates the novella or the ork infestation. Iron Resolve is filed in this shelf as M41 — Pre-Great Rift, and Lexicanum's List_of_Media_set_during_the_Era_Indomitus, which lists its Novella Series 2 sibling Lords of the Storm, does not list it. Allegiance 'imperium': an Imperial feudal world defended by the Imperial Guard.
systemIdlow
editorial: 'kallash', the world's own name; Lexicanum gives no system and no source names a star or another world. The survey systems/kallash.json is ONE WORLD and TRUNCATED.
