Daemon World of Khorne in the Eye of Terror
A Daemon World of the Blood God adrift in the Eye of Terror, where a sea of blood, running inland as rivers, joins cities that each keep an arena for Khorne: shanty towns on the blood ocean, a great crystal that resonates with music to the lord of battles, a standing battlefield, a graveyard of titanic warriors turned into dwellings. Thousands die in its gladiatorial games every day. Its ruling lords, daemons, Chaos Space Marines, barbarian chieftains and would-be nobles, squabble and raid other worlds for slaves, all under the reptilian Daemon Prince Lord Ebondrake and his black-scaled Ophidian Guard; the insectoid Scaephylyds are its slave caste. In 999.M41, during the 13th Black Crusade, Justicar Alaric of the Grey Knights is brought here as a slave. Hammer of Daemons is set here.

Position
Map frame: 195, 282 in the archive's 0–1000 disk space (core at 500, 500).
Distance from the core: 375 units ≈ 39.9k light years, north-west of the galactic core.
Height above the disk plane: 6.0 units — invented thin-disk jitter, deterministic per record. No published source gives any location a z coordinate.

wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Drakaasi (read directly in a browser on 2026-10-03): 'a Daemon World within the Eye of Terror dedicated to the worship of Khorne'; infobox Segmentum Obscurus, Population High Millions, Affiliation Chaos (Khorne), Class Daemon World (all citing Hammer of Daemons), Subsector 'Eidolon Subsector' (citing the Battlefleet Gothic: Armada II Eidolon cutscene); the sea of blood, the arena cities (chs. 5, 14, 17), the games (ch. 6), Lord Ebondrake and the Ophidian Guard (ch. 5), the Scaephylyds beneath the cities. Corroborated by https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Eye_of_Terror ('Drakaasi — Khorne Daemon World'; 'an ocean filled with blood instead of water, and it extends via rivers of blood deep in-land', chs. 14, 17), https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Daemon_World (Obscurus, Eye of Terror, ch. 5), https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Scaephylyd and https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Raezazel ('the daemon-world Drakaasi, which drifted across the Eye of Terror on the echoes of the Warp's tides'). Lexicanum also spells it Draakasi (the novel page, the series page, Scaephylyd). NAME-COLLISION CHECK: no index record uses the id or label; the Lexicanum pages that use either spelling are all about this novel.
book-joinhigh
PRIMARY for Hammer of Daemons (grey-knights::gk-main::2.6): after the capture on Sarthis Majoris the novel is set on Drakaasi, its arenas, its lords' wars and the Vel'Skan game (Lexicanum Hammer_of_Daemons_(Novel), Alaric 'Drakaasi', Venalitor chs. 16-26, Arguthrax chs. 24-25).
segmentumhigh
Lexicanum Drakaasi infobox: Segmentum 'Segmentum Obscurus' (citing Hammer of Daemons); Lexicanum Daemon_World lists it Obscurus / Eye of Terror (ch. 5).
classmedium
'daemon', chosen by what it LOOKS like and agreeing here with the infobox tag: a world whose 'greatest feature is a sea of blood which connects the cities of the planet', with rivers of blood running inland (Lexicanum Drakaasi; Eye_of_Terror). The daemon palette's crimson warp-glow is the nearest paint for a blood ocean; 'ocean' (blue water) would contradict the one colour word canon gives, and 'hive' would paint the arena cities as a continuous hive, which nothing says.
gposlow
inferred: region-level. Canon places the world only in the Eye of Terror (Lexicanum Drakaasi; Raezazel: it 'drifted across the Eye of Terror on the echoes of the Warp's tides', so it has no fixed position even in canon). The Eidolon Subsector is named by a game cutscene and has no published position, so it adds nothing. Placed inside our Eye of Terror feature (regions.json centre 180,300, radius 29) at (195, 282), 23 units from its centre and the clearest point inside it (25 units from the nearest marker, Iydris); the coordinate claims nothing finer than 'somewhere in the Eye'. Z 6 is the zPolicy value (compute-z.mjs drakaasi 195 282).
no-system-surveymedium
No systems/drakaasi.json, deliberately: canon names no star, no sibling body and no body count for Drakaasi, and describes it as a world that drifts across the Eye on the warp's tides rather than one bound to a system; an authored survey would invent all of it. systemId 'drakaasi' names the world's own (synthesised) system, as for Medrengard and Hesperax.
erashigh
m41 only, the novel's era (999.M41, the 13th Black Crusade: Lexicanum Venalitor ch. 16, Arguthrax). The era summary stops before the novel's events: the lords' civil war is kept to the spoiler. Allegiance 'chaos'.
