Cemetery world, the Mausoleum Valorum; Word Bearers invasion
A cemetery world of the Imperium, designated Mausoleum Valorum by the Ecclesiarchy, with millions of Imperial war dead buried beneath its soil and no living population, no resources and no strategic value. In late M41 the Word Bearers Dark Apostle Iskavan the Hated invades it for a propaganda victory, and its small Blood Angels garrison is losing until Battle-Brother Arkio leads the counter-attack that drives the traitors off-world. Deus Encarmine opens here.

Position
Map frame: 740, 270 in the archive's 0–1000 disk space (core at 500, 500).
Distance from the core: 332 units ≈ 35.4k light years, north-east of the galactic core.
Height above the disk plane: 3.1 units — invented thin-disk jitter, deterministic per record. No published source gives any location a z coordinate.

identityhigh
wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Cybele (read directly in a browser on 2026-10-02): 'a Cemetery World of the Imperium, located in the Ultima Segmentum. Designated Mausoleum Valorum by the Ecclesiarchy, millions of Imperial war casualties are interred beneath its soil'; population None; the Word Bearers invasion under Iskavan and Arkio's first prodigy (Deus Encarmine ch. 1; Blood Angels Omnibus, Appendix Angelus pgs. 604, 610, 617). The publisher's description: 'On the remote world of Cybele, the Adeptus Astartes of the Blood Angels Chapter fight a losing battle against the forces of Chaos' (Lexicanum Deus_Encarmine_(Novel)). NAME-COLLISION CHECK: Lexicanum full-text search for 'Cybele' returns only this world and pages about the Blood Angels novels; no index record uses the id or label.
book-joinhigh
PRIMARY for Deus Encarmine (blood-angels::ba-rafen::1): the publisher's description sets the book's opening war here and Lexicanum Koris (chs. 1-2) and Arkio (ch. 6) place the garrison, the Bellus's arrival, the space-port raid and the counter-attack on Cybele.
segmentumhigh
wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Cybele infobox: Segmentum 'Ultima Segmentum'; category Ultima Segmentum. Sector, subsector and system Unknown.
classmedium
SHRINE, medium. Painted from what the page says it is covered in: 'millions of Imperial war casualties are interred beneath its soil', a world given over to the war dead and named Mausoleum Valorum by the Ecclesiarchy, with no living population (Lexicanum Cybele). This dataset's shrine palette is pale bone plains with gilded peaks, a world of tombs, as for Orison VIII. The infobox tag 'Cemetery World' has no palette of its own; 'dead' was refused because it draws an airless cinder, which nothing says Cybele is.
gposlow
inferred: segmentum-level. Canon places Cybele in the Ultima Segmentum and publishes no sector, subsector, bearing or neighbour (Lexicanum Cybele). Placed at [740, 270], inside the stylised 'ultima' polygon (126 units from its edge, checked) and 101 units from the nearest existing marker (Aerius), so it implies no neighbour. The coordinate claims nothing finer than 'somewhere in the Ultima Segmentum'. Its distance from Shenlong is editorial too: no source says how far the Blood Angels sailed between them. UPGRADE CANDIDATE: a published sector would replace it. Z 3.1 is the zPolicy value (compute-z.mjs cybele 740 270).
erashigh
m41 only: the invasion is 'late M41' (Lexicanum Cybele) and Deus Encarmine is filed M41 before the Great Rift. Allegiance 'contested' for the invasion the book is set in.
no-system-surveyhigh
No systems/cybele.json: canon enumerates nothing about its system (Lexicanum Cybele's System field reads Unknown; no star, no sibling world), so an authored survey would contradict the one thing the source says.
systemIdlow
cybele — editorial: Lexicanum gives no system name, so the record names its own synthesised system, as other unenumerated worlds in this index do.
