imperium
Civilised Imperial world; home of the Brimlock Dragoons
An Imperial world best known for the regiments it raises, the Brimlock Dragoons: mechanised infantry carried into battle in Chimeras, with Cadian-pattern kit and kukri-style daggers. Brimlock regiments fought in the Damocles Crusade (the 4th, the 17th and the 19th, which was left behind in tau space) and the Taros Campaign (the 8th, lost with its convoy), and the firebrand Cardinal Esau Gurney who preached the Damocles Crusade was of Brimlock. In Imperial Glory the worn-out Brimlock Eleventh fights for the right to settle a world of its own.

wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Brimlock (read directly in a browser on 2026-10-02): 'Brimlock is an Imperial world best known for its Imperial Guard Regiments, the Brimlock Dragoons', infobox Class 'Civilised World', Affiliation Imperium, citing Imperial Armour Volume Three - The Taros Campaign, ch. 3. https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Brimlock_Dragoons — homeworld Brimlock; the 4th (742.M41, Damocles Gulf Crusade, Operation Hydra), 8th (998.M41, Taros), 17th (c. 750.M41, Sy'l'kell) and 19th Dragoons; Chimeras, Cadian-pattern equipment, kukri-style daggers. Lexicanum's search results for 'Brimlock' add Cardinal Esau Gurney 'of Brimlock' (Damocles_Crusade). NAME-COLLISION CHECK: no other index record or Lexicanum world uses the name.
imperial-glorymedium
The novel's regiment is 'the Brimlock Eleventh' and 'the Brimlock' (Black Library's description on Lexicanum Imperial_Glory_(Novel)); Lexicanum files the novel's cover as 'Imperial Glory Brimlock Dragoons Cover.jpg' and uses it as the Brimlock Dragoons' uniform image; Warhammer Community's 15 Jul 2017 'For the Glory of the Emperor!' post (search-engine extract only; the URL now redirects to the home page) says the novel 'features the Brimlock Dragoons'. Neither the Brimlock nor the Brimlock_Dragoons article cites the novel, so Brimlock joins Imperial Glory as MENTIONED on the regiment's name.
classlow
editorial: 'temperate', this dataset's default inhabited world, because the only description published is Lexicanum's infobox Class 'Civilised World' — a populated, governed Imperial world — and no source gives a terrain, climate or colour word. 'hive' was refused because nothing describes hive sprawl, 'agri' and 'forge' because no tithe or industry is named.
segmentumhigh
wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Brimlock null, and stated rather than guessed: gives Segmentum 'Unknown' and Sector 'Unknown' and files the page under 'Segmentum Unknown'. THE ONE LEAD, recorded and not used: Brimlock regiments are repeatedly deployed to the Damocles Gulf (Ultima Segmentum, the eastern fringe), and Cardinal Esau Gurney of Brimlock preached that crusade, which suggests a world near the Gulf; no permitted source says where Brimlock is. Upgrade candidate.
gposlow
inferred: a named world with no segmentum, sector, subsector, bearing or theatre published for it. Unsurveyed rim (rim_xy('brimlock'), r = 452.0 of the 470-unit disk, outside every stylised segmentum polygon), no positional information; the Damocles Gulf lead above is NOT used. Z 2.9 is the zPolicy value (compute-z.mjs brimlock 944 415.3).
erasmedium
m41 only: every dated Brimlock Dragoons entry is M41 (742.M41, c. 750.M41, 998.M41; Lexicanum Brimlock_Dragoons), and Lexicanum's source for their battle style and kit is Cadia Stands (Part 2 ch. 4), a novel of the Fall of Cadia, still 999.M41. No permitted source speaks of the world in hh, aoi or indomitus.

No systems/brimlock.json: Brimlock is a MENTIONED world here, not a book's primary setting, and canon names no star, sibling world or body count for it. The map synthesises its globe from this record.
