Lesser Adeptus Mechanicus forge world
A lesser forge world whose tech-priests go in orange robes. Its Mere Cuprum is a blue-green desert hundreds of miles across, and the Bore runs down from it, a relatively safe shaft deep in the desert that reaches all the way to the planet's molten core. Its Archmagos is Belenna-Phi-41-Kappa, the Plasma Lord of Uzurmandius. A Chaos alliance under Thelissicus of the Crimson Slaughter, the Night Lords of the Blades of Atrocity among it, raids the world in Mike Vincent's short story Blades of Atrocity, and The Remnant Blade opens there.
Position
Map frame: 62.2, 482.3 in the archive's 0–1000 disk space (core at 500, 500).
Distance from the core: 438 units ≈ 46.6k light years, west of the galactic core.
Height above the disk plane: -7.5 units — invented thin-disk jitter, deterministic per record. No published source gives any location a z coordinate.
System: Uzurmandius System

identityhigh
wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Uzurmandius (read directly in a browser on 2026-10-05): 'an Adeptus Mechanicus forge world', 'The tech-priests of this lesser forge world are noted as wearing orange robes', Mere Cuprum 'An expansive blue-green desert that extends hundreds of miles', the Bore 'A relatively safe underground location deep in the Mere Cuprum that extends downwards, reaching the planet's molten core' (all citing The Remnant Blade (Novel), Prologue); the raid by Thelissicus's alliance and Archmagos Belenna-Phi-41-Kappa cite Blades of Atrocity (Short Story). NAME-COLLISION CHECK: Lexicanum has one Uzurmandius article and no disambiguation page; no index record uses the id or label.
segmentumhigh
null: Lexicanum's infobox leaves Segmentum, Sector and System blank, and none of the novel's chapter-cited pages (Dalchian_Rassaq, Thelissicus, Blades_of_Atrocity, Abyssal_Kindred, Theta-Ibriel-7-4 has no page) names a sector, neighbour or bearing.
gposlow
inferred: the world is NAMED but canon never locates it, so the record claims no segmentum and sits on the unsurveyed rim at the generator's rim_xy('uzurmandius') = [62.2, 482.3] (the function in warhammer-3d-map/app/tools/build_locations.py evaluated on its own, which reproduces kurbynola [238.2, 136.5]; the script itself was not run). The position carries no information and must not be read as a bearing. Z -7.5 is the zPolicy value (compute-z.mjs uzurmandius 62.2 482.3). UPGRADE CANDIDATE.
classmedium
'desert', painted from the only terrain on file: the Mere Cuprum, 'an expansive blue-green desert that extends hundreds of miles' (Lexicanum Uzurmandius, Prologue). NOT 'forge', although the infobox reads 'Class: Forge World': that is the world's function, and ADDING-A-BOOK Step 5a2 forbids copying the infobox tag into a render class; no permitted page describes manufactoria, smog or a built-over surface.
erasmedium
indomitus only, the era the shelf files The Remnant Blade in (medium: no permitted page dates the novel; see the book's run record). Allegiance 'imperium': an Adeptus Mechanicus forge world under its own Archmagos. What the raid costs the world is not recorded.
systemIdmedium
editorial: 'uzurmandius', the world's own name; Lexicanum's System field is blank.
no-system-surveyhigh
No systems/uzurmandius.json: the world is VISITED (the Prologue), not the primary setting, and canon names no star, moon or sibling body. The map synthesises the system from this record.
