ork
Barren desert world of Warboss Brukka Bludspilla's Snakebites
A barren desert world that had no population at all until Orks crash-landed on it; a Snakebite tribe, the survivors of that crash, now hold it under the Warboss Brukka Bludspilla. Here the Kill Kroozer Big Thumpa, taken from the Orks by Da Red Gobbo's revolushunary grots, comes down, and Slipbit sets out to free Bludspilla's grots.
Position
Map frame: 495, 810 in the archive's 0–1000 disk space (core at 500, 500).
Distance from the core: 310 units ≈ 33k light years, south of the galactic core.
Height above the disk plane: 1.4 units — invented thin-disk jitter, deterministic per record. No published source gives any location a z coordinate.
System: Rostin System

wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Rostin_V (read directly in a browser through fetch-page.mjs, 2026-10-05): 'Rostin V is a Desert World that lacked any population until Orks crashlanded on it. The planet is populated by a Snakebite tribe, the survivors of a crashlanding', citing Long Live Da Red Gobbo (Novella), Chapter Two. The Black Library description (Internet Archive capture 20241128003633 of blacklibrary.com/prod-home/new/ebook-long-live-da-red-gobbo-eng-2024.html, and Lexicanum's copy of it) has Big Thumpa crash 'on a barren world ruled by the warboss Brukka Bludspilla and his brutal Snakebites'; Warhammer Community's Sunday Preview (27 Oct 2024) and Saturday pre-orders (2 Nov 2024) say the same without naming the world. NAME-COLLISION CHECK: no index record uses the id, label or an alias like it; Lexicanum has one Rostin V article.
classmedium
'desert' from what the sources say it LOOKS like: 'a barren world' (Black Library), a 'Desert World' with no native population (Lexicanum Rostin V, Chapter Two), and the Black Library cover shows cracked, sun-baked sand under dead trees. The infobox class tags 'Desert World, Ork World' were not copied; the barren, sandy description happens to match the desert palette. 'dead' was weighed and refused: a whole Snakebite tribe lives on it.
segmentumhigh
'tempestus': Lexicanum Rostin V infobox 'Segmentum: Segmentum Tempestus', citing the novella's Chapter Two. Sector, subsector and system are blank on the page.
gposlow
inferred: segmentum-level. Canon places Rostin V in Segmentum Tempestus and publishes no sector, subsector, bearing or neighbour (Lexicanum Rostin V). Placed at [495, 810], the point inside the stylised 'tempestus' polygon farthest from both its edge and every existing marker on a 5-unit search grid: 72 units from the polygon edge and 70 from the nearest marker (Gryphonne IV), so it implies no neighbour. The coordinate claims nothing finer than 'somewhere in Segmentum Tempestus', as for Athonos. UPGRADE CANDIDATE: a published sector would replace it. Z 1.4 is the zPolicy value (compute-z.mjs rostin-v 495 810).
systemIdmedium
'rostin', reasoned from the numeral: Lexicanum leaves the System field blank, and 'Rostin V' follows the Imperial convention of numbering a system's worlds after its star. Surveyed in systems/rostin.json as one world, TRUNCATED.
eraslow
indomitus only, INFERRED with the run: no permitted page dates the crash or the book, which is filed with the other Da Red Gobbo novellas in M42 (Da Gobbo's Revenge is on Lexicanum's Era Indomitus media list). Allegiance 'ork' (the Snakebite tribe, Lexicanum Rostin V). No earlier era is authored: the world 'lacked any population until Orks crashlanded on it', and no source says when that was. NEEDS CHECKING against the novella.
