Shrine world; two years into the war for its last shrine-city
An Imperial shrine world the Archenemy took, and that the Imperium has spent two years taking back. What is left of the heresy holds Saint Stanislava's Adoration, a shrine-city that broadcasts endless heresy over a hijacked vox-network, and the 2002nd Cadian Mechanised Regiment is the hammer set against it — under Nymea's own capricious commanders, quarantined and inspected by the Inquisition, with a mysterious blue star above pouring toxic light over the whole campaign.

Painted `shrine` — pale bone plains rising to gilded peaks with a votive gold glow on the night side instead of city light — because devotional architecture is the only thing any source describes on this surface: a holy world of shrine-cities, one of them named for a saint. Lexicanum's infobox tags it 'War World, Shrine World' and the War World half was deliberately NOT read into the class: a war world is a status, not a look, there is no `war` palette, and painting a two-year warzone grey would say something about Nymea's terrain that no source does. `hive` was refused because nothing describes hive sprawl, and `dead` because the world is inhabited, garrisoned and being liberated city by city rather than burnt out.

Unsurveyed rim (rim_xy, r = 447.3 of the 470-unit disk, outside every stylised segmentum polygon), no positional information. THE ONE LEAD, recorded and not used: the publisher's fuller description calls Saint Stanislava's Adoration 'the Maelstrom Zone's finest shrine-city', which would put Nymea in Ultima Segmentum near the Maelstrom ( — 'a region in the Ultima Segmentum ... over a thousand observed star systems'). Since blacklibrary.com closed on 31 August 2026 that paragraph reaches the public only through retailer listings, which are not a permitted evidence host, and neither Warhammer Community article nor Lexicanum's Nymea page carries the phrase — the same host problem that kept the Yasan Sector out of Blackheart: Claws of the Maelstrom. Upgrade candidate: the day a permitted host prints 'Maelstrom Zone' for this world, this record moves off the rim to a Maelstrom-adjacent position in Ultima.

Only `indomitus` is carried, because nothing is published about Nymea before this novel — no permitted source names the world anywhere else at all. The era assignment itself is editorial: neither Warhammer Community article dates the campaign, and the reveal that announced it dated only its sibling ('Cold Covenant ... in the 41st Millennium') and not this book. It is filed in Era Indomitus with the ten other post-2021 Astra Militarum standalones on the shelf, all of them current-setting novels.
