Shrine world overrun by Chaos; the Faithful hold out in the Storm Zone
A once-glorious, penitential shrine world now defiled by the Ruinous Powers. What is left of its people shelters in the Storm Zone, a divine tempest said to be raised by the saint whose sacred bones it guards, Saint Blaise. Its wilds hold predatory Bael trees, knife grass sharp enough to cut flesh, and ball sprites, carnivorous creatures like ball lightning. When the storm begins to wane, the Fulminators Primaris Chapter comes to fight the War for Chevreuse. Lords of the Storm is set here.

wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Lords_of_the_Storm_(Novella ) (read directly in a browser on 2026-10-02): the publisher's description, 'their once-glorious shrine world of Chevreuse ... the divine tempest that protects not only the remains of the planet's populace, but the sacred bones of an Imperial saint'. https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Planets_(List): 'Chevreuse — Shrine World', citing the novella's back cover. https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Fulminators: 'War for Chevreuse' (Lords of the Storm, Chapter 16). Warhammer Community, 'Coming Soon: Novella Series 2' (31 Jul 2019, read as its Internet Archive copy): Edoardo Albert, 'A penitential shrine world. A storm raised by the saint ... the relics of St. Blaise'. NAME-COLLISION CHECK: no index record uses the name; Lexicanum's Chevreuse article is empty, and its full-text search finds Chevreuse only on the Planets list, the Fulminators article, the novella and anthology pages and three flora/fauna pages, all citing this novella.
segmentumhigh
null: Lexicanum's Planets (List) row gives no segmentum, and no permitted source gives a sector, subsector, system or any bearing.
gposlow
inferred: the world is NAMED but canon never locates it, so the record claims no segmentum and sits on the unsurveyed rim at the generator's rim_xy('chevreuse') = [931.5, 388.0] (the function in build_locations.py evaluated on its own, which reproduces kallash [759.0, 848.6] and lyca [62.5, 589.5]; the script itself was not run). The position carries no information and must not be read as one. Z 6.6 is the zPolicy value (compute-z.mjs chevreuse 931.5 388.0).
classmedium
'shrine' from what the sources say the world IS and holds: 'once-glorious shrine world' (the publisher's description), 'a penitential shrine world' and the relics of St. Blaise (Edoardo Albert, Warhammer Community, 31 Jul 2019), the sacred bones of an Imperial saint. No source gives its colours or terrain beyond its flora and fauna: Bael trees with thorny, moving rope-like appendages (Lexicanum Bael_tree, chs 1, 8, 9), tall knife grass (Knife_grass, ch. 4) and ball sprites (Ball_sprite, chs 2, 10). 'death' (this dataset's olive, toxic jungle) was refused because nothing calls it a jungle or a Death World; 'daemon' was refused because the world is defiled and fought over, not warp-twisted; 'feral' was refused because no forest or ocean is described. The palette's pale plains and votive glow are the honest read of a shrine world whose landscape canon leaves undrawn.
erasmedium
indomitus only: Lexicanum's List_of_Media_set_during_the_Era_Indomitus lists Lords of the Storm (2019), the Fulminators are an Ultima Founding Chapter sent into the Indomitus Crusade (Lexicanum Fulminators), and the anthology that collects it is set 'in the Dark Imperium' (Lexicanum Imperium_at_War_(Anthology)). Allegiance 'contested': the Ruinous Powers defile the world while the Faithful hold the Storm Zone (publisher's description; 'the stalemate between Faithful and Defiler', Imperium at War).
systemIdlow
editorial: 'chevreuse', the world's own name; no source names a star or another body. The survey systems/chevreuse.json is ONE WORLD and TRUNCATED.
