Knightly world; homeworld of the Lion and the I Legion
Old forest from pole to pole, deep enough that the roads between the strongholds were the only thing anyone was sure of. What lived under those trees was bad enough that the whole planet organised itself into knightly orders to hunt it, and the greatest of them, the Order, kept its fortress-monastery on the mountain Aldurukh. The Lion was found in these woods and the I Legion recruited out of them. This is the era in which Caliban is a world — green, forested and whole.

Not merely broken. The warp tore open around the planet as it came apart and most of it went through; what is left in real space is wreckage and the orbit it used to keep. One fragment survived with Aldurukh's fortress-monastery still standing on it, and that fragment is now under power and under way as the Rock. The Dark Angels recruit elsewhere and do not discuss any of it.

Still nothing, ten thousand years on. Every piece of Caliban that still exists is moving: the Rock, and — later — the planetoid the ruins were rebuilt into, neither of which is here. The coordinate is kept because the Chapter's whole reason for existing as it does starts at it.

The post-M31 status was rewritten from 'Debris field' to 'Destroyed' in the ship sprint on that sentence: a ring of rubble overstates what canon leaves behind, and the renderer's own status table only re-classes a world as dead on the word the source actually uses

It did, and that word is one of the strings app/src/stages/palettes.js STATUS_CLASS matches, so the Heresy-era Caliban was being re-classed to a grey airless rock in the one era it was a living forest world. The destruction is still stated — in the hh SUMMARY, which the renderer does not pattern-match, and as the aoi status, which is the era it belongs to. Nothing was softened; a claim was moved off a field that is load-bearing for the shader and onto one that is not

this entry exists because its ABSENCE was a rendering bug, not because a source was found. app/src/stages/system.js classInEra() derives a destroyed world's grey from eras[era].status and falls back to the survey class when the era key is missing, and presentInEra() draws planets in every era regardless — so a Caliban carrying no indomitus record came back to life as a green forest world in the era furthest from its own destruction. The status is the same 'Destroyed' the two preceding eras carry, resting on the same Lexicanum sentence. No new claim is made; a silent gap was closed

That is a different kind of object from this record and would need its own mobile entry, so it is described in the indomitus summary and not modelled.
