imperium
Imperial mining world; its people beset by an affliction
An Imperial mining world where a terrible affliction plagues the local population. The 114th Mordian Iron Guard are deployed there unaware of it, and as they hunt the source of the corruption, panic spreads and enemies close in from within the Belmosian population and from without, alien raiders among them. The setting of Iron Guard; what the affliction is and how it ends is in the book's spoiler, which no permitted source yet supports.
Era Indomituspost-Rift
[RECORD LOST]
No record for this location in Era Indomitus.

wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Iron_Guard_(Novel ) (read directly in a browser on 2026-10-02), Black Library's description: 'deployed to the mining world of Belmos VII, unaware that a terrible affliction plagues the local populace', the Guardsmen 'surrounded by enemies, both from within the Belmosian population and from without'. https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Glory_Imperialis_(Omnibus): the Mordian Iron Guard 'battling dread xenos to secure a mining world'. Warhammer Community, 'For the Glory of the Emperor!' (15 Jul 2017, the Glory Imperialis pre-order; its old URL redirects to the home page, so read as the Internet Archive copy https://web.archive.org/web/2017id_/https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/07/15/for-the-glory-of-the-emperor/ in a browser on 2026-10-02): 'deployed to a mining world where a mysterious affliction and alien raiders plague the populace'. Lexicanum has NO Belmos VII article (redlink). NAME-COLLISION CHECK: Lexicanum's full-text search for 'Belmos' returns only Iron_Guard_(Novel); no other index record uses the name.
classlow
editorial: 'forge', this dataset's industrial-extraction palette, because the only description published is 'mining world' (Black Library; Glory Imperialis; Warhammer Community 2017), with no terrain, climate or colour word. The piscina-iv precedent ('Mining World; rendered forge for an industrial extraction world, the nearest class this schema has'). 'hive' was refused because no hive is named; 'dead' and 'desert' because nothing describes a barren surface.
segmentumhigh
null, and stated rather than guessed: no permitted source gives Belmos VII a segmentum, sector, subsector, bearing or neighbour (Lexicanum Iron_Guard_(Novel), Glory_Imperialis_(Omnibus), full-text search 'Belmos'; Warhammer Community 2017).
gposlow
inferred: named in the book's own description and unplaced anywhere else. Unsurveyed rim at the generator's rim_xy('belmos-vii') = [166.0, 803.2], r = 451.1 of the 470-unit disk, outside every stylised segmentum polygon (build_locations.py's arithmetic reproduced and checked against rogar-iii [211.5, 165.0] and voor [183.2, 197.8]; the script itself was not run). The position carries no information and must not be read as one; nearest marker Jumael IV at 44 units. Z 5.0 is the zPolicy value (compute-z.mjs belmos-vii 166.0 803.2).
erasmedium
m41 only: no permitted source dates the deployment, and the shelf files Iron Guard (2012) M41 — Pre-Great Rift with the rest of the classic Imperial Guard run. Allegiance 'imperium': an Imperial world the Guard is deployed to hold; whether it stays one is spoiler and unsupported. hh, aoi and indomitus carry nothing.
systemIdmedium
'belmos' from the world's designation (Belmos VII, a seventh body of a Belmos system); no source names the system or its star. systems/belmos.json is authored because this is the novel's PRIMARY setting: the seventh world and six unnamed inner worlds implied by the numbering, list TRUNCATED (the rogar.json and gryphonne.json precedent).
